Mona-Lisa Prosper has served as Director of Futurpreneur Canada’s Black Entrepreneur Startup Program since 2021. With experience spanning diverse fields including law, tech, entrepreneurship, professional services, fashion, music, and economic development, she sees the interconnections that are often key to the success of emerging ventures. That includes centering diversity and inclusion and working proactively to address systemic barriers. Alongside her role at Futurepreneur Canada, Mona-Lisa works to advance inclusive growth oppportunities through thought leadership, Board and advisory roles.

Boann is one of three wholesalers appointed through a competitive, merit-based process by the Government of Canada to invest a portion of the $755M Social Finance Fund (SFF), an initiative that seeks to accelerate the growth of Canada’s social finance market. The SFF supports charities, non-profits, social enterprises, co-operatives and other social purpose organizations (SPOs) in accessing flexible financing opportunities.
