Emeline Le Guen

Emeline Le Guen brings more than 10 years of experience in supporting and financing non profits and impact ventures, in France and Canada. She has been a project manager at La Caisse des Dépôts, a state-owned financial institution supporting and financing public policies in France towards economic, social and sustainable development. In Canada, she led the development and the launch of Thrive Impact Fund, an impact first and place based fund, investing through flexible debt in social enterprises in British Columbia. She is now part of the Development team at Le Chantier de l’Economie Sociale, a Montreal-based non-profit committed to advancing social impact within Quebec’s economy. She is committed to social innovation and helping impactful solutions scale up to foster inclusive and thriving communities.

Boann is one of three wholesalers appointed through a competitive, merit-based process by the Government of Canada to invest a portion of the $755M Social Finance Fund (SFF), an initiative that seeks to accelerate the growth of Canada’s social finance market. The SFF supports charities, non-profits, social enterprises, co-operatives and other social purpose organizations (SPOs) in accessing flexible financing opportunities. Greater access to social finance through the SFF will help them grow, innovate, and enhance their social and environmental impacts.
