Strategic Partner, Values-Based Banking at Assiniboine Credit Union
Brendan is the Strategic Partner of Values-Based Banking at Assiniboine Credit Union, where he works to integrate and embed the principles and practices of values-based banking into ACU’s core functions, culture, and daily work. He leads ACU’s B Corp Certification journey and the credit union’s commitment to using business and finance as a force for good. Brendan also provides national leadership as the co-chair of the Canadian Credit Union Association’s Community Impact Committee, locally on the Board of Directors at SEED Winnipeg, and at ACU with through initiatives including ACU Pride, Indigenous Leadership Circle, and the Eco-Excellence Team. Building on a previous role as the Manitoba Regional Director at the Canadian CED Network, Brendan is a passionate educator and organizer dedicated to creating inclusive, fairer, and more sustainable economies and communities.
