Sayantani Mukherjee

 

Specialist, Impact Measurement and Management

​

Sayantani is an impact professional with nearly a decade of experience in managing social impact initiatives. She has worked across the non-profit sector, private organizations, and the United Nations Development Programme, spanning both India and Canada. Her passion lies in driving meaningful change for equity-deserving groups, which she strives to achieve through a strong emphasis on rigorous impact assessment to ensure the long-term success of initiatives. As the Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) Specialist at Boann, she works on developing and implementing comprehensive frameworks and methodologies to measure, monitor, and amplify social impact outcomes. 

 
Sayantani holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a master's in development studies. She is currently pursuing a Diploma Program on Sustainability at the University of Toronto and remains actively engaged with Canada Forum for Impact Investment and Development (CAFIID) to stay abreast of developments in the impact and Gender Lens Investing (GLI) space. 

 
Outside of her professional work, Sayantani is deeply committed to supporting artisans and promoting heritage crafts. She channels this passion through her small business, which celebrates and preserves traditional Indian craftsmanship.
